A gripping tale, the story is about three friends Prabhu (puneeth), Siddesh (yogish) and Chandru (sreenagara kitty) who can do anything for each other. They also have their own goals to achieve. Prabhu has to get a government job to marry his relative (radhika), Siddesh wants to go abroad and Chandru wants to set up a computer institute, he is also in love with Prabhu's sister (abhinaya). The story takes a turn when Prabhu's friend Sudhir (vishal) comes to him and asks for help. He is in love with Sushma (ramya), daughter of a business tycoon. Prabhu and friends risk their lives and help Sudhir and Sushma. In this process, the three friends lose very important things. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.
The director has come up with an excellent storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was good. The dialogues were hard hitting, the script was strong while the screenplay was excellent. Background score was effective and songs are the real highlight. Cinematography was appealing with vibrant shades. Editing was adequate. Costumes were trendy while the art department was matching the situations. Puneeth Rajkumar has come up with a powerful dialogue filled performance. Sreenagara Kitty was decent and the real show stealer was Yogish with his natural act. Radhika Pandit looks ravishing, Ramya Barne was pretty, Abhinaya was pretty. Avinash was apt, Vanitha Vasu was effective. Vishal was good.
The film happens to be the remake of the Tamil hit Nadodigal which was also remade in Telugu. But despite that, it has enough intensity and power packed scenes to enthral the audience and Slightly Better than Tamil Version. While the first half goes about with the elements of the romance and comedy, things change just before the interval. The film takes a complete serious turn in the second half and the climax is brilliant. Overall, this is a film that will appeal to Appu fans and all genres of audience. At the box office, Huge success is confirmed and itz Sure shot hit.

Cinematography : Satya Hegde

Sanju (srinagara) hails from Coorg and he has a doting mother. He gets a job in a big company and before he leaves for that, he comes across Geetha (ramya). It is love at first sight for him and eventually Geetha also responds to him. However, she has a dark past in her childhood which also involves a psychopath Arun Sagar. However, the day of marriage arrives and Arun Sagar arrives dealing a brutal blow. Geetha gets admitted into the hospital, enraged Sanju goes and kills Arun Sagar. This lands Sanju in jail while Geetha loses her memory. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.
The director has come up with a thought provoking storyline and while the presentation was magnificent, the narrative was impressive. The dialogues were well written, the script was twisted but the screenplay was smooth. Background score was alright and all songs were very good and specially picturized. Cinematography was Good. Editing was alright. Costumes were different and trendy while the art department was rich and appealing. Sreenagara Kitty came up with an intense performance and he carries the film well. Equally good was Ramya who looks ravishingly hot and sensuous in songs. Suhasini was okay, Sharat Lohitashva was good, Jai Jagdish was routine, Avinash was apt, Rangayana brought few smiles.
Amidst the remakes and the regular formula entertainers, this comes across as a whiff of fresh air and though it is a tragic flick, it strikes a chord with the audience. While the first half goes on the lighter side with the sentiment, romance, comedy and some action sequences, the second half gets intense and has various twists and turns that might squeeze the hearts of the audience. This will appeal to the family audience especially the melodrama loving viewers. At the box office, this has a chance of scoring success.

Double Dhamaal:Hilarious and Whacking Funny.!Better than Dhamaal.!!
Rating : 3.5/5
Banner : Reliance Entertainment, Maruti International
Cast : Sanjay Dutt, Ritesh Deshmukh, Javed Jaffrey, Arshad Warsi, Kangna Ranaut, Aashish Chaudhary, Mallika Sherawat and Others
Music Director : Anand Raj Anand
Cinematographer : Aseem Bajaj
Producer: Ashok Thakeria, Indra Kumar
Director: Indra Kumar
Released Date: June 24, 2011
A laughing treat, the story continues with the four madcaps Roy [Ritesh Deshmukh], Adi [Arshad Warsi], Manav [Jaaved Jaaferi] and Boman [Aashish Chaudhry] dreaming of becoming big without doing anything. At this point, they come across the corrupt cop and their enemy inspector Kabir Naik. Much to their surprise, Kabir is driving a swanky car, living in a villa and has a posh office. The four decide to blackmail Kabir to make them as his partners. Kabir agrees but then he has a better plan in mind. For this, he is accompanied by the sultry hot wife Kamini (mallika) and sizzling sister Kiya (kangna). What happens from there forms the rest of the story.
The director has come up with a regular storyline and while the presentation was good, the narrative was the highlight. The dialogues were well written, the script was witty and the screenplay was tacky. Background score was nice and songs were the real highlight. Cinematography was top notch and grand. Editing was as per the standards. Costumes were rich and trendy while the art department was giving a visual feast and grandeur. All the four- Arshad, Jaaved, Riteish and Ashish come up with fabulous performances and create their own mark. Mallika was not only sizzling but has given her share of laughs, Kangna was valuable. The real showstealer was Sanjay Dutt with his impeccable timing and perfect dialogues. Satish Kaushik was hilarious, Zakir Hussain was effective.
The film happens to be the sequel to the original hit Dhamaal and true to the second one, it has more dose of comedy and better performances. While the first half goes about with the layering of the plot, the second half gets into the crazy and whacky turns it takes to entertain the audience. As such, there is no idle moment in this and the comedy quotient is plenty. However, this is meant for only those who look for fun filled entertainer sans logic and reasoning. At the box office, it has the right material to appeal to the masses and average Indian audience so success looks very strong.

Badrinath:Dull and Boring
Rating : 2/5
Banner : Geetha Arts
Cast : Allu Arjun, Tamannah, Prakash Raj, Kelly Dorjee, Ashwini Khalsekar, Brahmanandam, Ravu Ramesh, Krishna Bhagawan, Raghu Babu, Venu Madhav, Dharmavarapu, M S and Others
Music : M.M. Keeravani
Cinematography : Ravi Varman
Producer: Allu Aravind
Director: V.V. Vinayak
Released Date: June 10, 2011
An okay tale, the story begins with Badri (allu arjun) who is groomed as a great warrior by a big guru Bheeshma Narayana (prakash raj). Badri's job is to protect the great Badrinath shrine. Bheeshma sees a successor in Badri but the condition is that he must remain a bachelor throughout his life. However, the story takes a turn with the arrival of Alakananda (tamannah) who doesn't believe in god. She is being chased by the powerful Sarkar (kelly). In no time, few situations happen and Alakananda falls in love with Badri. Is she successful in her love story? Why is Sarkar chasing Alakananda? Does Badri fulfil his guru's dream? All this forms the rest of the story.
The director has come up with an appealing storyline and while the presentation was okay, the narrative was Average. The dialogues were stable, the script was average and the screenplay was having many loopholes. Background score was nice but only two songs were upto the mark. Cinematography was good but not that exceptional. Editing was average. Costumes were moderate while the art department was rich and matching the situations. Allu Arjun has come up with a committed performance and he looked fit for the role. Tamannah was a visual delight and she has come up with some bold skin show, she will enthral all with her glamour. Prakashraj was standard. Kelly Dorjee was weak. Ashwini Khalsekar was below average. Brahmi was Average, Krishna Bhagawan was casual, the others did their bit as required.
Though the film came in with a lot of hype and publicity, as such it doesn't really meet the expectations. The flaw lies in the direction and lack of depth in critical scenes and some irritating songs . While the first half goes about with very light comedy and action sequences, the second half gets serious and has the regular dose of melodrama. Overall, the film is good in technical and production values but a gripping narration with good dose of comedy and entertainment would have taken it to a new level. At the box office, this will be an Below average grosser.

The director has come up with an average storyline and while the presentation was okay, the narrative was Okay. The dialogues were the key part, the script was written with few flaws and the screenplay was slow at Many places. Background score was nice but songs were the real highlight. Cinematography was good despite the technology used. Editing was highly required during key situations. Costumes were excellent while the art department was matching the situations. Salman Khan walks away with the lion's share and he has portrayed his abilities to the fullest. Asin was competent and still has that natural sex appeal. The film happens to be the remake of the Telugu super hit movie 'Ready' directed by Srinu Vaitla. While the film did have few changes in terms of script during the first half, but fails to Entertain. The technical values were effective and execution was not that great. However, one must not compare it to the original and watch it like a straight film. At the box office, this will attract huge opening collections due to the star power and the hype created. As such, the film Will be an Above Average Grosser.

Delhi Belly:Real Shocker and Bold!!Highly Recommended.
Rating : 4/5
Banner : Aamir Khan Productions, UTV Motion Pictures
Cast : Imran Khan, Poorna Jagannathan, Shenaz Treasuryvala, Vir Das, Kunal Roy Kapoor, Vijay Raaz, Paresh Ganatra, Raju Kher, Rahul Singh, Rahul Pendkalkar and Others
Music : Ram Sampat
Cinematographer : Jason West
Producer: Ronnie Screwvala, Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao, Jim Furgele
Director: Abhinay Deo
Released Date: July 01, 2011
A bold tale, the story begins with three friends Tashi (imran), Arun (vir das) and Nitin (kunal) who are also partners in crime. Arun has been deserted by his girlfriend and he is also having issues with his eccentric boss. On the other hand Tashi is all set to get married to the beautiful and hot Soniya (shehnaz). As for Nitin, he doesn't realize that a hearty meal of Tandoor chicken at a roadside stall is going to change the life of his belly forever. While life goes normal for them, a crazy set of incidents take place and they come across a dangerous gangster (Vijay raaz). What happens after that forms the rest of the story.
The director has come up with a blasphemic storyline and while the presentation was classy, the narrative was different. The dialogues were excellent, the script was good while the screenplay was gripping. Background score was haunting and songs have already scored chartbusters. Cinematography was top notch. Editing was sharp but few scenes got jumped. Costumes were colourful while the art department was apt. Imran Khan comes up with a delectable performance and impresses. Vir Das was wonderful. Kunal Kapur was efficient. Shehnaz was sensuous and added well while Poorna Jagannathan was totally into the character. Vijay Raaz was mind blowing, Rahul Singh was good, Paresh Ganatra was nice, the song presence of Aamir was neat. The others did their bit as required.

Right from the word go, the film takes off on an unconventional route and the mix of cuss words, the realistic locales and some raw dialogues catch the audience offguard. While the first half goes on a lighter mode, the real punch is delivered in the second half. However, given the genre of the film, it is more of a youth oriented and hard hitting audience treat than the regular family audience. At the box office, it has Strong chance of scoring a Smash hit.
