Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara Bollywood Movie Review

A well knit tale, the story begins with three friends Arjun (hrithik), Imran (farhan) and Kabir (abhay) who have a reunion after few years. They meet up in Spain and decide to try out various things. As such, all three of them have their own issues to deal with. Meanwhile, they are joined by Laila (katrina) who starts as their diving coach but eventually becomes friends. She strikes a chord with Arjun who is always focused on his work and is ambitious about career and money. Kabir is engaged to Natasha (kalki) who is a rather possessive girl. Imran is keen on meeting his father (naseeruddin) who abandoned him during childhood. The reunion journey brings about different experiences to each of them and how they go through a transition forms the rest of the story.

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara Hindi Cinema Review

The director has come up with a interesting storyline and while the presentation was good, the narrative was excellent. The dialogues were well written, the script was strong and the screenplay was effective. Background score was intense and songs were the major highlight. Cinematography was the highlight. Editing was perfect. Costumes were decent and elegant while the art department was apt. Locations deserve a special praise here. Hrithik Roshan comes up with a suave performance and he rocks with his looks and physique, Katrina Kaif was stunningly beautiful and she carries her role with élan, Abhay Deol was matured and he has a natural ease in front of the camera. The real show stealer was Farhan Akhtar whose sense of humour brings many laughs and he also appeals with his emotional sequences. Kalki Koechlin was below average in looks and performance. Naseeruddin Shah was effective. Ariana Kabnol was apt.
Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara Filem Review

The film comes across with a simple insight into the lives of the protagonists but then it is the way their lives change and the various experiences they undergo which entertain. While the first half goes about with the fun and frolic, the second half goes about with the emotional issues and how they deal with it. There is an equal dose of fun, melodrama, romance and sentiment. Overall, the film scores high on technical values and presentation while content was good. Some scenes similar to Hollywood movie Hangover but then the film goes in different direction. At the box office, success looks guaranteed.

A fun filled tale, the story is set on the backdrop of one Gandhi Colony and here lives Johnny (vijay) along with his two buddies (rangayana, rakesh). They keep the colony folks happy with their antics. The story takes a turn when the trio decides to kidnap one Priya (ramya) for money. But things get complicated with Johnny falling in love with Priya. However, Johnny is mass while Priya is class. He starts doing things just to get close to her. But one day Priya takes Johnny to her boyfriend's house. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.

The director has come up with a light hearted storyline and while the presentation was right, the narrative was Okay. The dialogues were sensible, the script was Bit Weak and the screenplay was up to the mark. Background score was nice and songs were the major highlight. Cinematography was appealing. Editing was requried during second half. Costumes were trendy while the art department was rich. Vijay has come up with an excellent performance in all departments, he was good. Ramya looks ravishingly sexy in the songs and she was never this hot before. Rangayana and Dattanna entertain. Rakesh was effective, Achyuth Kumar made his presence felt.

The film is a proper commercial entertainer although no gripping story. While the first half goes about with the elements of comedy and required songs, the second half gets into the romantic mode and it also has a bit of melodrama mixed with sentiment.I Felt if director added some more twists in the film ,it would be more interesting. The film will score primarily due to the songs and the immense glamour of Ramya . At the box office, the movie has it all to score a hit.
